NewsFebruary 24, 2008The Ames Alumni of Beta Sigma Psi Lutheran Fraternity would like to announce the Richard Osslund Capacity Building Grant. This grant is designed to build capacity and raise the level of awareness in the importance of thanking clergy and youth ministers who provide leadership and spiritual programming to young people each and every day in Lutheran organizations. The grant is intended to be used by clergy for professional development to advance programming for youth in their respective Lutheran congregation. Applications for the first grant cycle are due April 15, 2008. January 18, 2008Epsilon Chapter activated 14 new members into Beta Sigma Psi. Congratulations, brothers! October 19, 2007The Beta Sigs, together with Kappa Alpha Theta, Kappa Sigma, and Alpha Sigma Kappa, cleaned up at Homecoming, winning Yell Like Hell and Community Service and taking second overall. Also, congratulations to Homecoming King Luke Johanson! August 4, 2007Eric Swanson and Stephanie Golding were united in marriage today. Congrats, Steph and Swanny! Moreover, Matt Meyer and Jessi Faith were united in marriage today. Congrats to Matt and Jess as well! July 28, 2007This fall we will have 22 new members joining Beta Sigma Psi. Thanks to Luke and Terry for all your hard work this summer with recruitment! July 21, 2007We have painted the lounge and began putting new carpet in it today. Some of the furniture has come in as well, and the rest is expected within a couple of weeks. Thanks to all the parents and alumni who made this project possible! July 7, 2007Thanks to this past year's activation class, Epsilon chapter now has a quality flag pole in our front yard. The new flag pole looks spectacular. July 1, 2007The chapter house lounge received a new paint job this weekend. In addition, new furniture for the lounge came in. Everyone at the house is excited about the new look and feel of the lounge. June 9, 2007Kyle Sheker was accepted into the Architecture program and Peter Montag was accepted into the Graphic Design program. May 12, 2007Tyler Anderson and MacKenzie Bromann were united in marriage today.
