College brings with it many changes and various challenges. Living away from home for the first time, as well as living with roommates and other students who come from different backgrounds, add to the upheavals. Living together with other Christians, and especially others who share the same faith tradition, can help ease that transition and establish a foundation for lifelong commitment and friendship.

Beta Sigma Psi is the national Lutheran fraternity, dedicated to the 3 S’s of Spiritual, Scholastic, and Social growth and involvement. While all 3 “S’s” are important, it is the Spiritual “S” that makes the Beta Sigs stand out. The brothers are involved in weekly Bible studies, led by the pastoral adviser, the chaplain, and others. They are active at both Memorial Lutheran Church (LCMS) and University Lutheran Church (ELCA) in many areas of worship, service and leadership. More than that, though, their dedication to Christian service and ideals is visible in everything they do. The ways they reach out to others in the Greek community, and their respected reputation on campus as the Lutheran fraternity, all demonstrate the way that they live out their vocations in the midst of the challenges of campus life.

If you are looking for a way to grow in your faith during your college years by living with a group of like-minded Christian men, I’d encourage you to consider joining Beta Sigma Psi.
