2008 Richard Osslund - Capacity Building Scholarship Application (DOC)

Application due dates: April 15, 2008 (first scholarship) and October 15, 2008 (second scholarship)

The Ames Alumni of Beta Sigma Psi Lutheran Fraternity sponsors the Richard Osslund – Capacity Building Scholarship. The program is designed to build capacity and raise the level of awareness in the importance of thanking clergy and youth ministers who provide leadership and spiritual programming to young people each and every day in Lutheran organizations.

The scholarships are intended to be used by clergy for professional development to advance programming for youth in their respective Lutheran congregation. Individual clergy may use funds to attend a conference or seminar for professional development. Youth leadership and programming materials may be purchased with justification of how the materials will be used to enhance the youth programming in the Lutheran congregation.

Individuals interested in submitting a capacity building scholarship will be required to fill out the following scholarship application. Applications may be submitted electronically by email to amesalumni@epsilon.betasigmapsi.org or sent via postal mail to the address listed below.
