Beta Sigma Psi, Epsilon Chapter, is part of a national Lutheran fraternity. As such, we are shaped as much (if not more) by the Christian faith and the Lutheran contribution to that faith as we are by the fact that we are a group of gentlemen belonging to a fraternal society. As such, our guiding statements reflect our role in the community in which we find ourselves.
The Objective of Beta Sigma Psi
The objective of Beta Sigma Psi is to promote an organization of communicant Lutheran men who recognize that life rooted with Christ in God is the only true goal of human existence, and who, therefore, foster, encourage, and inspire activities and relationships which promote this end.
The Purpose of Beta Sigma Psi
The purpose of Beta Sigma Psi National Lutheran Fraternity is to provide an environment in which the Lutheran college man can grow spiritually, scholastically, and socially. To that end Beta Sigma Psi undertakes programs designed to develop Christian leaders and to aid the individual in assuming a satisfying and useful role in society. Through its alumni and undergraduate leadership Beta Sigma Psi endeavors to assist each member:
- Develop Character
- Develop Intellectual Awareness
- Develop Social Responsibility to Chapter, College, Community, State, Nation, and World
- Develop Spiritual Welfare
- Develop Brotherhood
- Develop Integrity
- Promote Friendship
- Advance Justice
The S's of Beta Sigma Psi
There are three S' in Beta Sigma Psi, each representing an important part of our lives as members of this fraternity. The three S's are Spiritual, Scholastic, and Social. More about each 'S' may be found on their respective pages on the website.
The Virtues of Beta Sigma Psi
There are four virtues of Beta Sigma Psi, each representing a vital and important base from which we can more fully realize our three S's as brothers. These pillars are Faith, Loyalty, Service, and Brotherhood. Each pillar is essential for Beta Sigma Psi to function and fulfill its mission. More about each pillar and its role in the life of a Beta Sig can be found out during the associate membership of future Beta Sigs.
Statement of Principles of Beta Sigma Psi
The following are the principles every member of Beta Sigma Psi strives to live up to.

- Be loyal to Christ, my brothers, and myself
- So serve my church, campus, and community through the pursuit of excellence in all my endeavors
With the support and encouragement of the brotherhood within Beta Sigma Psi.
