Relay for Life
Members Ben Halley and Nate Hollander pose with Cy at Relay for Life.

Every academic year, the members of Beta Sigma Psi log hundreds of community service hours to benefit the local community.  Our members pride themselves in the help and assistance they can provide others, and several spend their spring and summer breaks taking service trips with fraternity brothers or church groups. Members have recently served with the following organizations, among several others:

  • Habitat for Humanity
  • Relay for Life
  • Reggie's Sleepout
  • Northcrest Retirement Community
  • Kids Run for Kids
  • Camp Io-Dis-E-Ca
  • Camp Okoboji

In addition to our extensive community service efforts, Beta Sigma Psi coordinates two charity fundraising events each year. In the spring, the chapter collaborates with our sister sorority, Phi Beta Chi, to put on a cookout that raises money for a different charity each year. In the fall, the whole chapter comes together to put on the Beta Sig Brunch with the invaluable assistance of John "Cookie" Anderson. Beta Sig Brunch benefits Habitat for Humanity, the official philanthropy of Beta Sigma Psi National Fraternity.
